QUAD CITIES RIVER SPILL RESPONSE TRAINING River response training will be provided to the Quad Cities area response community. Lessons will be classroom and “hands on” with exercises and drills designed to sharpen your skills, while networking with critical stakeholders and response professionals. Classes will be one day in duration with the morning session in the classroom focusing on line handling, safe navigation, boat and boom dynamics, emergency procedures and containment/diversion strategies. Lunch and break refreshments will be provided. Our post lunch session will be on the water with boat handling and scenario based deployment stations.
