Little Double Blossom Crochet Flower I crocheted the model in worsted-weight yarn using a size H (5mm) crochet hook. You can vary the size of the flower by varying the weight of the yarn and the size of the hook. Let’s get started! Round 1: Ch 2. Work 5 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc. Terms to Know: ch = chain sc = single crochet sl st = slip stitch dc = double crochet tr = treble crochet Round 2: (Ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, sl st) in the same sc, sl st to the next sc. Repeat 4 more times, making 5 petals. Round 3: Ch 2. Going behind the petals, sc around the post of the first sc on round 1, ch 3. (Sc around the post of the next sc on round 1, ch 3) 4 times. Join with sl st to beginning sc. There are now 5 ch 3 spaces. Round 4: (Sc, 4 tr, sc) in next ch 3 space and in each ch 3 space around. Join with sl st to beginning sc. Break yarn and pull through. This very little pattern is brought to you by Princess Froglips (aka Jane Dominguez). It is free to distribute, copy, pass around, and feed to your alpaca (if she is into those things). Please keep it free. Feedback is welcome (jeorje@gmail.com).
