SPRING
SUMMER
2015
Let’s do Lunch!
This Spring Summer menu will be served in Highland primary schools after the Easter Holidays. There are some new
choices on the menu. Dishes such as Cook’s Curry mean that cooks can offer more variety from week to week depending
on what pupils in your school like. This will be pre notified. Children are encouraged to ask/request choices in advance
or see choices in the school newsletter or school notice board. We are very proud to hold The Food For Life Bronze award
and even Silver in our trial schools. Over ¾ of our dishes are homemade using fresh ingredients. The menu is healthy
and nutritious and meets all the requirements of the Scottish School’s Health Promotion and Nutrition Act.
Where our food is from...
 Local beef, lamb, pork and venison all from the
Highlands
 Sausages and burgers from a traditional local
