Make your intention for the Prayer you are about to pray in your heart (without moving your lips) and that this prayer is for Allah alone. 3. During the prayer, ALWAYS look at the spot where you will place yourhead when prostrating, unless otherwise mentioned 4. Give EACH position its due time allowing your body at reach tranquility. Step #13 “Siraatal-lathina an’amta ‘alayhim ghayril maghduubi ‘alayhim walad daalleen” (Allah is the Greatest) **For English please refer to the bottom** Our Lord, for You is all Praise. Step #14 “Subhaana rabbiyal ‘Adheem” Golden Rule #2: When praying in congregation, move your lips in coordination with what you are saying silently EXCEPT when the Imam is reciting. When performing step #17: go down with your hands first and NOT with your knees How to Perform a 3-unit Prayer... Perform steps 1 through 20 (part 1), then perform step #12 to 22. The End! Kamaa baarakta ‘alaa Ibraahim wa ’alaa aali Ibraahim fil ‘alaamin Step #22 Innaka hamidun majid” Part 2 Make your right hand into a loose fist with your thumb relaxed and point your right index finger out and move it up and down slowly while looking at it for the rest of the prayer. Only during the Shahadah should you point it straight without moving it. Turn head 180 degrees to the left and say same as Step #21 T he End!! Step #21 “Wa baarik ‘alaa Muhammad wa ’alaa aali Muhammad Translation of Step #20 Part 1A All words which indicate the glorification of Allah are for Allah. All acts of worship and good deeds are for Him. Peace, mercy, and the blessings of Allah be upon you oh Prophet. Peace be upon us and all the righteous servants of Allah. Oh Allah bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibraahim and the family of Ibraahim. And bestow Your grace on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as you have bestowed Your Grace on Ibraahim and the family of Ibraahim. You are the most praised and the most glorious.
