How to Compete and Win in the Baby Boomer Olympics Content

How to Compete and Win in the
Baby Boomer Olympics
Wednesday, April 16, 1:30 to 3 p.m., CDT
Content
With an aging population of employees still in the
workplace, this webinar will describe hiring trends
and key tips for successful career management. The
effective identification and use of key human capital
operatives (recruiters, coaches, etc.) and interview and
branding techniques will be covered.
As The Affordable Care Act begins to take effect,
financial leaders and operants will be directly impacted
and in many cases either displaced or become a lack
of a good fit. Evidenced by hiring trends in the last two
to three years, this forces health care professionals in
leadership to take inventory of their skills, needs and
interests in re-engineering their career management
plans.
Who should attend
Hospital and health care executives.

Speaker
Jeff Souza, president & CEO, Leaders for Today, LLC
Jeff Souza worked for more than a decade as a hospital
laboratory scientist before completing his nursing
degree, and ultimately moving into the business side of
health care in the human capital space. He increased
the volume in his territory of a nursing staffing business
by nearly 800 percent before being promoted to lead a
multi-state expansion. He was recruited by Clinforce,
Inc., which provides clinical research staffing services,
where he expanded the company’s reach from the east
coast to a national presence. At about that time United
Health Group/Ingenix recruited Mr. Souza for having
aggressively grown young companies. They brought him
to start the U.S. business unit-i3 Pharma Resourcing,
which furnished clinical research professionals to
companies throughout North and South America.
In 2008, Leaders for Today’s board recruited Mr. Souza
to take over the daily operations and to create and
execute on an expansion plan for the interim-leadership
managment firm. He was tasked with bringing the
business from a regional to a national presence. His
results include the addition of multiple regional offices
around the country, as well as an international presence.
Today the company is the second largest of its kind
in the US, is listed in Modern Healthcare’s Top 25
Healthcare Recruiting firms of 2013, and ranks number
14 on MHAPrograms.org’s Top 100 Sites for health care
leaders and executives.
A nationally renowned speaker on leadership and
career management strategies, Mr. Souza serves on
the Membership Committee of the American College
of Health Care Executives and is past chairman of
the Public Relations Committee for the New England
Chapter of the Association of Clinical Research
Professionals and a fundraiser for the American Cancer
Society.
