Made by bach-design.at 2 2 3 4 5 6 8 9 12 Welcome Similar to the previous symposia we will this year have a very strong session on research with presentation of recent advances. In contrast to the past, the symposium will be introduced by a session where surgeons present optimal results of peripheral nerve and brachial plexus repair. This is not to glorify themselves but to show what at least theoretically should be possible to achieve and to articulate what they would like to get as far as improvement is concerned. Special attention is paid to include cerebral plasticity into consideration. At the end a vivid discussion between research and clinic should result. The second important topic will be dedicated to the important role of connective tissues in general and fascial tissue in special as it attracts more and more interest in recent years. Of course an interesting free paper session is included. Our team hopes that all participants will enjoy their stay in Vienna. We will anyway try our best.
