HOW TO ACCESS INTTRA’S PLATFORM Welcome to INTTRA’s global e-commerce platform Today, INTTRA’s platform is more relevant to ocean shippers than ever before. Over 90% of shippers use more than one carrier to meet their global container shipment needs. This requires communicating with different carrier systems. INTTRA makes this fast and easy by offering an integrated platform with one simple connection to the world’s largest network of ocean carriers. How to access the INTTRA platform Accessing the INTTRA platform is easy INTTRA LinkTM INTTRA Link is an integration service that offers customers with a high volume of shipping transactions the option of using XML or EDI to link their systems with carriers. Customers integrate once to INTTRA to take advantage of the multiple XML and EDI connections between the INTTRA platform and its carrier partners – saving money and time in managing and maintaining multiple high speed direct connections. INTTRA DesktopTM INTTRA’s Desktop solution provides the fastest and simplest way to make a booking or shipping instruction. A simple installation of INTTRA’s software enables you to create shipping documents and bookings offline and then send them to your carrier via email or web services. Features include: a standard process to use, create, save and edit templates, and an easier way to archive and find information. Desktop also has built-in forms for compliance with US Customs security, formats for B/L viewing and automated confirmations. INTTRA Desktop is available in multiple languages and requires a PC with email or Internet connection. INTTRA ActTM INTTRA’s online application offers a simple and secure web based connection to enable you to manage a wide range of shipment processes. You can negotiate cargo services, review up to the minute sailing schedules, book cargo, submit shipping instructions, review Bill of Lading drafts, track and trace cargo and create standardized reports for your shipments. You can also choose to share your booking, shipping instructions, or Bill of Lading data with selected shipping partners. Flexible Solutions INTTRA’s customers and their shipping partners can communicate and share documentation by using any combination of I-Link, I-Act and I-Desktop. Share information seamlessly with your shipping partners Customers can choose any combination of channel solutions to connect to their shipping partners. Customers and their shipping partners can choose from any of the following: I-Desktop to work offline, I-Act to work online at www.inttra.com, or I-Link for an integrated solution using XML or EDI connections – ideal for processing high volume shipping transactions. All available platform solutions can share information seamlessly with our multi-carrier network regardless of the type of access used, enabling information to be shared among all parties. INTTRA’s channel solutions enable easier collaboration and greater visibility Example of a typical solution INTTRA’s platform is designed to work seamlessly across different access channels. In this example the shipper submits a booking via the web (using I-Act) and elects to receive a confirmation by email. The forwarder also receives notification of the booking by email, elects to issue a Shipping Instruction via its I-Link connection and receive the Bill of Lading via the web(I-Act). The Consignee receives email notification of the booking confirmation, tracks the shipment via the web (I-Act) and requests reports to monitor the shipments progress via the web (I-Act).
