How to avoid re-logging into WebNow
for each workflow notification with a WebNow URL link
Objective:
Instructions contained in this user guide are applicable to HJF HQ users who in a short period of time
repeatedly access Oracle workflow notifications containing URL links to WebNow.
WebNow requires that a user log-in every time they follow a link to the document presented as a URL.
This can become aggravating to users.
Following the steps outlined below, the user will need to log into WebNow docs.hjf.org once, and then
copy/paste URLs into adjacent Internet Explorer Tabs, thus avoiding having to log in multiple times.
1. Open new Internet Explorer browser

2. In Internet Explorer, navigate to docs.hjf.org
a. Do not follow the link from the workflow notification!
3. Log into WebNow at docs.hjf.org
a. Do not follow the link from the workflow notification!
b. Note: User will have to re-log in after 30 minutes of inactivity

4. You are logged into WebNow.
a. For the purposes of this user guide it doesn’t matter what document search options you
have, as you will be copying and then pasting the workflow URL links into adjacent tabs
and not doing “document searches”

a. Remain logged in the adjacent WebNow session

7. Copy Oracle Worklfow Notification URL (not shown)
a. OR, copy URL from Oracle EBS (shown)
b. WARNING: Do not copy URLs from Internet Explorer address bar as they get masked for
security purposes, and will result in errors. Copy URLs from the Oracle EBS Workflow
notification.

8. Paste the URL into a Internet Explorer New Tab adjacent to the WebNow6 Log in page
a. Hit ENTER
NOTE: Until the WebNow session automatically times out after 30 minutes of inactivity, user
will not have to re- log into WebNow for every WebNow URL link as long as this process is
followed.
