The new UCP 600 (Uniform Customs and
Practice for Documentary Credits, ICC
Publication No. 600) was approved on October
25, 2006 and to be implemented globally on
July 1, 2007.
To identify the major changes, improvements
and pitfalls of UCP 600 compared with UCP
500.
To advise the banking and commercial
sectors how to prepare for UCP 600 in terms
of business development, risk management
and operation improvements.
