HOW TO LINK TO YOUR PENCAST IN MYLABSPLUS
Once you have your pencast with the watermark overlay, you can link it in MyLabsPlus (MLP) – it’s easy!
1.
Open MLP and go to the heading of the unit to which you wish to add your pencast:
2. Go to “Author” mode. When in “Author” mode, click on the “Unit Content Items” button, then click on the “Add
Items” button. Here is what you will see:
Name your link (in this case, I called it “Pencast 4.2 #4”), and select “Web Content Upload” as your Item type. Then
click the “Add Items” button in the lower right part of your screen.
3. Your pencast is now listed with your other assignments in the left-hand navigation area:

4. Still in “Author” mode, click on the pencast link you added. Browse for the desired pencast, then click the “Upload
file” button.
Now you will see that your PDF has been uploaded:
5. Click on “Course,” then click the link that you created , then you will see your pencast in playback mode:
You’re done!! You have successfully included your pencast in MyLabsPlus.
