Job Title: Junior Product Specialist

Main Purpose of the Position
The Junior Product Specialist is responsible for contributing to the successful development of the
CQS products. This is performed through the practical application of ACL software technical product
knowledge and industry knowledge.

TECHNICAL









Reason for Vacancy: Growth in Division
Assist in database mapping, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing
application configuration.
Assist in technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement.
Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of
their business;
Defining software, hardware and network requirements;
Developing agreed scripts and implementing them on new systems;
Assisting in support enablement by means of documentation and training;
Assisting the program office where required in ensuring all program documentation is up to
date and accurate.
Accurately and efficiently working within prescribed deadline estimates.
Accurate and regular updating of the in-house issue tracking system.

Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire.
Assist with the development of client information management standards and evaluation of
technology trends.
Contribute to business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design.

An understanding of ACL software is an advantage
Bash, Perl, PowerShell or other similar programming/scripting technologies advantageous
Knowledge of programming fundamentals preferable
SAP integration with some reporting preferable
SQL, Oracle, MySQL or other database skills preferable
Working Environment & Travel
Extremely busy office environment with a great deal of team work. This position is office based but
some ad-hoc travel will be required.
Working hours
08h30-17h00 - but dependent on client needs and project progress.
