Annual EEO Public File Report
The purpose of this EEO Public File Report (“Report”) is to comply with Section
73.2080(c)(6) of the FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the
Station Employment Unit that is comprised of the following station(s): KUVE-CA, Tucson, AZ,
KFTU-TV, Douglas, AZ, KFTU-CA, Tucson, AZ, K48GX, Tucson, AZ, and KUVE-TV, Green
Valley, AZ, and is required to be placed in the public inspection files of these stations, and
posted on their websites, if they have websites.
The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning June 1, 2010
to and including May 31, 2011 (the “Applicable Period”).
The FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information:
1. A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Station(s) comprising the Station Employment
Unit during the Applicable Period;
2. For each such vacancy, the recruitment source(s) utilized to fill the vacancy (including, if
applicable, organizations entitled to notification pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(1)(ii) of the
new EEO Rule, which should be separately identified), identified by name, address, contact
person and telephone number;
3. The recruitment source that referred the hiree for each full-time vacancy during the
Applicable Period;
4. Data reflecting the total number of persons interviewed for full-time vacancies during the
Applicable Period and the total number of interviewees referred by each recruitment source
utilized in connection with such vacancies; and
5. A list and brief description of the initiatives undertaken pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(2) of
the FCC rules.
Appendices 1, 2 and 3 which follow have been designed, in the aggregate, to provide the
required information. Please note that the numbers listed on Appendix 2 under the column
entitled “Full-time Positions for Which This Source Was Utilized” refer to the number of the
full-time job positions listed on Appendix 1.
For purposes of this Report, a vacancy was deemed “filled” not when the offer was
extended but when the hiree accepted the job offer. A person was deemed “interviewed”
whether he or she was interviewed in person or over the telephone.

Participated in Job/Career Fairs:
Arizona Broadcasters Association Career Fair – On November 10, 2010, Laura Wright, HR
Manager and Virginia Luna, Executive/HR Assistant, participated in the ABA Broadcasters
Career Fair in Tucson, Arizona. Students were provided with information on employment
opportunities and internship program in the broadcasting industry.
On March 23, 2011, Roberto Yañez, V.P., General manager, Juan Villa, News Director, Laura
Wright, HR Manager, Andrew Deschapelles, National Account Manager, and Virginia Luna,
Executive Assistant, Participated in the annual Department of Economic Security – Arizona
Workforce Career Expo, in Phoenix, AZ.
Arizona Broadcasters Association Career Fair – On April 7, 2011, Jaime Boyd, Research
Director, Laura Wright, HR Manager and Roberto Yañez, V.P., General manager participated in
the Career Expo held at Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Arizona. Student and
general public were provided with information on employment and internship opportunities in
the broadcast industry.
Participated in Events Sponsored by Educational Institutions:
On January 26, 2011, Tatiana Bustamante, Marketing and Promotions Coordinator, Karla Gomez
Escamilla, News Reporter, and Juan DeSoto, News Photographer participated at the Rio Rico
High School – Career Day. Univision representatives answered student’s questions regarding
their personal careers with Univision and various broadcasting careers; including News,
promotions, photographers and engineering. Explained the digital conversion and what is
needed to succeed in broadcasting.
On February 10, 2011 News Reporter, Karla Escamilla and Marketing & Promotions
Coordinator, Tatiana Bustamante were invited to participate in a Love of Reading/Career Day at
Menolo Park Elementary School, Tucson AZ December 4, 2009, Karla Escamilla, News
Reporter and Juan DeSoto, News Photographer, participated in a career day at Pierson
Vocational High School in Nogales, AZ. Univision representatives discussed their careers in
broadcasting as well as skills and education needed for opportunities in broadcasting.

On February 15, 2011, Tatiana Bustamante, Marketing & Promotions Coordinator participated at
a Career Day hosted by Pueblo High School. Students had the opportunity to ask questions
regarding careers and internships in the broadcast industry, specifically, opportunities with
Univision.
Participation in Job Banks:
Arizona Broadcaster Association and National Association of Hispanic Journalists job banks of
media trade groups with broad-based membership (including women and minorities) were
utilized for all the job positions filled during the reporting period.
Internship Program:
A student from Pima Community College, Tucson, AZ participated in the KUVE/KFTU
internship program in the 2010 fall semester (8/25/2010 – 1/7/2011). The student received
training in the area of News Production and received internship credit from the Pima Community
College.
