PRESENTATION – OUR 150 YEARS
Company WVterm from Maribor continues the TVT Boris Kidrič company's tradition in the field of boiler production. The
beginning of industrial production reaches back in 1863 when the railway carriage and steam locomotive overhaul
facilities were constructed. In 1970 the TVT Boris Kidrič, proizvodnja tirnih in cestnih vozil company signed a contract with the
German STADLER company. Later, TVT became the biggest producer of boilers in the former Yugoslavia. Unfortunately, this big
company could not avoid the crisis which appeared after the break-up of Yugoslavia. In 1995 an ownership transformation
occurred and a new company WVterm was founded. During the past years, WVterm proved to be a vital export oriented
company. The changed approach to work enabled better conditions in all fields of operation. The operation economics provides the
company with a favourable business partner position. The company experienced rapid growth during the past years and today employs
approx. 80 workers instead of the original 27. Due to the local conditions, export orientation was compulsory and today represents over
60% of all production. Our biggest partners come from the EU market. Besides the EU market the company is also present in the
markets of the former Yugoslavia where the TAM STADLER trademark is still appreciated. Our perspective is built on experience
upgraded with hard development work and with the aim to develop good products interesting for the market. With the internal and
external potentials we significantly renewed and expanded our production programme.
Efficiencies as well as low flue gas emissions and design of our products are now at the same level as the European
competition. The conformity of products is guaranteed with the company’s TÜV certificates which represent
an integral part of documentation. One of the founding aims of the market appearance is to renew the old
trademark that is to establish a positive contact with the market. We strive to restore the good name of the
STADLER TVT® trademark with hard work and quality production. Use of the trademark is protected both
at home and abroad with number Z-9670961. Besides this trademark we are also present in the wood
biomass market with Bioflamm® and HDG Bavaria trademarks. The company provides HDG boilers in
Slovenia and other countries of the former Yugoslavia.
Company's production programme is very wide and with its Made in Slovenija products covers almost all
areas of hot water boiler production. In the last years, the company increasingly invested in new technologies
and has already caught up with technical development of its European competitors, thus keeping its
competitiveness in the EU. During the last years, the welding technology was modernised with new pulse
welding machines and robot welding of boilers and components. Preparation of boiler parts is based on topclass laser cutting of sheet metal and CNC technology for sheet metal and pipe forming. This technology
helped us to achieve the production and productivity which is comparable with European competitors.

WVterm has s TŰV certificate AD- Merkblatt HP 0 and certificate TRD 201, tis helps the company to
produce tipicaly certified boilers and vessels under higher pressure. The company has become the certificate
in accordance to Standard ISO 9001 modul B and modul D, which emphasizes the qualifications of the
company for the production of boilers. In accordance with the slovene legislation WVterm has the certificate
that it is qualified for boiler welding and production of high pressure vessels. Tha Company ha salso golden
sign for the product quality SQ. We have many patents and trade marks protected at the Bureau of
industrial property.
We produce over 3.000 pieces of boilers yearly, the capacity varries from 12 kW to 6.000 kW, among them
there are over 100 pieces of boilers with capacity from 200 kW to 6.000 kW. Lately we encrease the
production of boilers for biomass . We V zadnjem času se močneje širi proizvodnja kotlov na biomaso, kar
velja tudi za slovenski trg. Through our domestic partner in Germany we cover the markets in all European
countries. Our biggest devices from 3 MV up to 6 MV work in Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Russia.
The greatest meaning in our economical position has our export, that is why we strive after high business and
high quality.
Our Sale to former Yugoslav markets is higher from year to year. The trade mark STADLER is on this
markets still appreciated.

The company exports over 60 % of its yearly production, 55 % is exported to european Union.
Special Refference is Projekting and control of Instalation in Hospital in Jakutsk Russia, area
over 50.000 m2. Projekt was made throug Biro 71 Ljubljana in the Yaer 1995.

Safety Technical derivation of Bioflamm combustion plant according to TRD 414 section 1.6 and
1.7:
Devices that are licensed and are operating from a TÜV-tested, are equipped with guards metering
of electrical drives with self-control, safety buffer.
For closed heating installations according to DIN 4751 and TRD 702 device meets the prescribed
implementation of district heating system, which has proven parts.
