#PZT GLAZING INNER TOP RAIL. Silicone bond to
top edge of glass. Note: A Top Rail is recommended to prevent glass breakage, by protecting
the top edge from being struck by hard objects,
especially for Public applications.
#SWL12 WEDGE GASKET on both sides of 12mm
#SWL10 for 10mm, or #SWL15 for 15mm glass.
#SBC SETTING BLOCKS at 500mm centres to
separate the top rail from the glass and prevent
over-compression of the bonding silicone during
rail placement.
TOUGHENED GLASS PANELS of appropriate
thickness, refer to the Style Specification. All
exposed edges to be Flat Polished.
SLOTTED CUT-OUT in glass is required at each
#AGM2 clamping unit. Refer to page 7.61.3.
Sa
m
FIXINGS (not shown) Refer to Fixing Specificaion
for positions.
#AGM2 CLAMPING UNITS (partly shown) are
required to clamp the glass to the #AZM channel.
These clamps allow some adjustment to the
verticality of the glass infill. Refer to pages
7.61.1 and 7.61.2.
WEDGE Use #SWL6 for 10mm glass, and #SRE
for 12mm glass. (No wedge for 15mm glass).
Pr
#SRE RETAINED GASKET to the #AZM CHANNEL.
Must be slid into channel prior to assembly.
#SBA SETTING BLOCKS (not shown). One block
at each end of every glass panel.
#ANM CONNECTORS are required to connect the
#AVM cover to the #AZM channel. These connectors are required at approximately 750mm spacing. Refer to page 7.63.1.
#AZM GLAZING CHANNEL to be continuous
wherever practical. Joins should align with glass
panel joins wherever the substrate is not
perfectly rigid. Joins shall be tightly butted
together.
#AVM COVER is to be connected to the #AZM
channel using the #ANM connectors.
