TEA We source our teas from Birchall. The company has produce and traded tea for over 140 years, with particular focus on East Africa, from Rwanda through to the Rift Valley in Kenya, where the finest teas are to be found. Birchall offer a range of excellent teas, including English Breakfast Tea, Earl Gray and a range of fruit and herbal infusions. The teas are grown at high altitude and relatively low temperatures, developing greater flavour before they are individually picked. Birchall’s pursuit of quality ensures that leaves are only ever hand plucked. The leaf, bud and tender stem are carefully pinched together in a ‘perfect pick’.
