Scope: this protocol addresses jewelry, watches, hair accessories, key chains and charms and similar products.
Submit: approximately 15 – 20 finished products depending on size or amount necessary to proceed with full testing. The number of
samples that are required for testing varies. Note: The following is a general guideline. For more precise guidance, contact the lab prior to

- Including anklets, arm cuffs, bracelets, charms, brooches, chains,

and body piercing jewelry or any bead, chain, link, pendant, or
other component of such an ornament.
- Both accessible and inaccessible materials should be tested.
- For component test together with CPSIA, composite up to 3
colors / like materials (except metals) is allowed, transfer the
CPSIA result here for compliance
- Non-suspect materials, except leather, as defined by the
Consumer Products Safety Commission in 16 CFR 1500.91 (d) and
(e) will not be tested. Vendor is responsible for compliance of
these materials.
