How to get from the new Quito Airport to hotels or to Cemexpo:
SHUTTLES
Most of the hotels mentioned in this manual have shuttle service, we ask you to check with your
hotel.
AEROSERVICIOS
It is worth mentioning that the new Quito Airport is in a remote area of the city, you will need at list
1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive to the hotels.
We recommend taking "AEROSERVICIOS;” this service is located at the departure of international
flights at the airport, the cost is 8.00 USD, and buses depart every 30 minutes.
This bus takes you to the previous airport terminal, located in the northern center part of the capital
city. From there you can take a taxi to different places such as hotels, or to CEMEXPO; the price
varies between 10.00 USD and 20.00 USD depending on the hotel location.

TAXI
The new Quito Airport also has taxi service. You can find the service at the counters inside the terminal. They have fixed rates and prices range from 25.00 USD to 40.00 USD depending on to the location of your hotel.
Warning! We suggest that the taxis be hired directly from the counters located inside the airport,
whether it is in the new airport or the previous one.
ELECTRICITY
Ecuador uses a voltage of 110 V., for a 220 V. an adapter is needed.

1.5 FREIGHT IMPORT
SHIPPING PROCEDURES FOR INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITORS
HPP Exhibitions Ecuador recommends Dial Cargo as the official Customs Clearing Agent for
International Exhibitors.
The transportation of your exhibition materials is a matter that must be coordinated directly
between the client (exhibitor) and the customs clearing agent.
In order to prevent problems, we strongly advise to request a price quote (at least one month
before the show) for the handling (transportation and customs clearing) of your materials.
All transportation and customs clearing coordination should be directly done with Dial
Cargo. HPP Exhibitions Ecuador does not take part and is not responsible for any import or
customs clearing procedures for this exhibition.

The price per entry is USD 35.00 + VAT. This price includes: registration fee, coordination, vase rental, stage rental, maintenance, judging and a certificate of participation.
QUALITY COMPETITION- BEST GROWER
To enter the Best Grower Quality Competition, please find the category code of
your variety (ies) in the Category List (pages 22 and 23), fill out ORDER FORM 4
(page 39) with the correct category code and the name of the variety (ies) and
return the form to our office.
Please note that this competition is divided in two. In one of the categories all the
registered rose variety (ies) will compete with each other making a differentiation
per variety. In the second category all other flowers (summer flowers, tropical
flowers, etc.) will compete.
In both cases, when there is a considerable amount of registrations of a specific
variety, there will be a mini competition among the different growers.
To register your varieties please read carefully the Best Grower and Best Breeder
Quality Competitions Rules and Regulations in page 20 and use the Category List in
pages 21 and 22 to guide yourself.

To enter the Best Breeder Quality Competition, please find the category code of your
variety (ies) in the Category List (pages 21 y 22). Please fill out ORDER FORM 4 (page
39) with the correct category code and the name of the variety (ies) and return the
form to our office.
To register your variety (ies) please read the Best Grower and Best Breeder Quality
Competitions Rules and Regulations on page 20 carefully and use the Category List
on pages 21 and 22 to guide you.

ADVERTISING IN THE SHOW GROUNDS
For Agriflor 2014, we offer some options for advertising inside and outside the hall itself.
These options are:

• Gondolas
• Billboards
• Banners
Prices include: space, printing and installation. Art must be delivered in a CD by the Company with color proof.
If you are interested in this type of advertising, please fill out ORDER FORM 11 (page 46).

3. GENERAL PARAMETERS FOR STAND EXHIBITION
VOLUME PARAMETERS
At no time and under no circumstances will musical presentations be allowed inside the
hall. The exhibitor who exceeds the volume parameters will be asked to immediately
finish the event.
The maximum noise level permitted is 80 dB(A) in the “fast” meter position, measured
inside the contours of the closest neighboring stand. In doubtful cases, exhibitors should
contact the organizer on-site at least one day before the opening of the show.
HANDLING MODELS
Exhibitors should keep in mind that the level of our show demands high standard of organization and presentation of stands. This leads to an optimal professional environment, for
which we suggest you to bring a carefully selected set of models that will be the image of
your prestigious company.
MUSICAL PRESENTATIONS
As a request of our customers, it has been decided not to allow the presentation of any
band, as well as the presentation of DJ's in the course of the show.
AGE ALLOWED
We recall that Agriflor 2014 is a commercial exhibition allowed only for people over 18
years. We ask to keep this in mind, and any exception can bring security issues during
setup and break down. We thank our exhibitors to take this measure into account.
• SPOTLIGHTS (included): Every booth with stand construction has one 60 Watt spotlight
per every 3m². The spotlights will be installed on top of the horizontal fascia boards. If your
booth has neither panels nor fascia boards, no spotlights will be installed.
• ADDITIONAL FURNISHING (Optional): In case you want to order special furniture or
extra accessories for your stand, HPP Exhibitions Ecuador offers you some options: chairs,
tables, shelves. etc. In the ORDER FORM 16 (page 52) you will find options and prices for
ordering advance items to decorate your booth (subject to availability).
• ELECTRICAL SERVICES (Optional): If your company needs additional lighting points, fill
out ORDER FORM 14 (page 50).
• OUTLETS (Optional): Please note that the stand construction package DOES NOT include the installation of outlets, if your company needs an outlet, please fill out ORDER
FORM 14 (page 50).
Note that Ecuador uses a voltage of 110V., to use 220V. an adapter is necessary.
• LOGOS (Optional): If your company wants greater brand exposure, we present four
options that can be considered to improve the presentation of your booth.

STAND CONSTRUCTION PACKAGE
If you have order “Floorspace Only” but want to hire the “Stand Construction”,
please fill out ORDER FORM 13 (page 49). Package includes: basic stand construction
(back and side walls), gray carpet, fascia board with the company name and stand
number in adhesive letters, 1 table, 3 chairs, 1 wastebasket, 1 spotlight per every 3
m² (including electrical consumption).
The price is USD 65.00 per m².
5. PARAMETERS FOR CONTRACTS "ONLY SPACE"
For companies with a "Only space" contract, it is necessary to keep in mind these new
regulations in search for better organization and time optimization during setup and
break down time.
These guidelines are directed to designers and stand builders.
ACCREDITATION
• This year all the stand designers and construction companies must go a process of
"ACCREDITATION" in which we will inform ahead of time ahead the regulations to the
designs, construction and setup of stands.
• This "ACCREDITATION" must be done the construction company in the HPP Ecuador
offices, located on Av. Amazonas N33-215 y Alemania, Building Skorpios, 5th floor,
Quito - Ecuador. It should be signed by both the construction company and the exhibitor
to be validated.
• The form for the accreditation of the stands construction company is ORDER FORM 12B
(page 48).
APPROVAL FOR STAND DESIGNS
• It is also important that this year all design stands must be approved by the logistics
department of HPP Ecuador based on rules and regulations detailed below.
• Its necessary to send an email to Juan Pablo Camacho, Department of Logistics,
juanpablo@hppecuador.com with the following information:
• Accreditation signed by HPP Ecuador, stand builder, and exhibitor.
• Structural designs that accomplish with the detailed regulations below.
• In the case of sharing a space with one or more other exhibitors, the acceptance of
design heights it’s necessary by the exhibitor or exhibitors.
Please note that all this process can be done by e-mail with Juan PabloCamacho, in
case of stand constructor base is not in Ecuador.
STAND HEIGHT
• The maximum height for construction and decoration of the stand is 2.40 meters. If you
need to increase this height, please contact Juan Pablo Camacho de HPP Exhibitions Ecuador at his email: juanpablo@hppecuador.com. The construction of the stand that exceeds
the established standard height will be restricted if it does not have written authorization
from HPP Exhibitions Ecuador.
A higher elevation is possible under the following parameters:
- High permission by the neighbors of your stand, and when it does not exceed 5,50 m.
- Anything over 5,50 m. will be considered advertising and will have an extra cost.
- If there is no mutual agreement between the neighboring businesses and your company, you can build 1 m.higher inside the edges of the contracted area.
VISIBILITY
• To avoid visibility conflicts with other stands, we ask you to consider: not building open
walls, especially in places where stands are located on sharing spaces.
• If the owner has a bar, cellar or item that needs a wall, we suggest to design it so it is
placed in the center of the contracted area.
LOADING AND UNLOADING OF LORRIES:
• During set up days, the company’s trucks with materials to the stand construction will
have 15 minutes at door 1 and 4 to unload. After this time, the driver will be asked to park
the vehicle in the back of the parking lot.
• Under no circunstances is the entry of vehicles allowed into the hall for unloading.

The price of the service is USD 6.00 + VAT per square meter for four exhibition days. If you

If you need to place structures or banners from the ceiling of the exhibition center, it is necessary to know how many hanging points are needed, which is quoted separately.
