1-2 November 2014 Karstens Sydney Quay West building 111 Harrington Street Sydney THE AUSTRALASIAN COLLEGE OF DERMATOLOGISTS The Australasian College of Dermatologists is pleased to announce that its popular Dermatological Surgery and Procedures workshop is being offered again over a 2-day weekend in November in Sydney. The workshop forms one module of the Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology course which was developed by the College in association with RACGP and ACRRM, and is regarded as the definitive training in dermatology for GPs. A unique feature of the workshop is the handson practice on pigs’ bellies. GPs put theory into practice from basic surgical skills – suturing, ellipse and ellipse variations – to more advanced flaps, with skilled facilitators who are Fellows of the College. PROGRAM The program consists of lectures, small group discussions and practical surgical sessions, conducted by Fellows of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. ACCOMMODATION For those who have registered for RMA 2014 a discounted rate has been negotiated at the Four Seasons Hotel and this may be extended to 2 November subject to availability. Yes, the workshop forms one module, Module 5 of the GP Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology course. Participants are expected to have completed Module 4 Practical Procedures in Dermatology prior to attending the workshop.
