DEADLINE TO CHANGE PROGRAMS FOR WINTER 2015: For all students who wish to change programs for Winter 2015, please
come by the Registrar’s office and make an appointment to speak to an Academic Advisor.Deadline to switch programs: Friday,
October 31st at 4:00 p.m. Make sure to come by before the deadline!
ACADEMIC ADVISORS: Academic Advisors help you from admission to graduation. Advisors can give you all the information you
need. If you have any questions concerning your academic life at Champlain or at University, make an appointment by coming

TD SCHOLARSHIP: The TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are designed to recognize the achievements of youth who are

leadership and public speaking experience as a Champlain College Tour Guide. As a Tour Guide, you will give tours of Champlain,

writing, come visit us at the Writing Centre. We have extended hours
for drop-in consultations and weekly tutoring in English. Visit us at
B307 (2nd floor library) to sign up and see a tutor.
LEARNING CENTRE: Our tutors are almost booked for the semester.
If you need weekly help in a subject, sign up for free tutoring at the

about citing? Come see the reference team at the library. You can
find us at the reference desk from 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday

LOANS & BURSARIES APPLICATIONS / FINANCIAL AID: Do you work
more then 15hrs a week? Are you stressed out about your financial
responsibilities such as rent/debt/school fees & books?
The Government wants to ensure that those who wish to study full
time are able to do so. They do this by evaluating your financial support and if you are eligible, they offer you a Loan or Bursary to which
you can use to reduce your financial stress and focus on your studies.
If you have any questions about the program or would like to make
an appointment to complete your application, please contact Dave

INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL: The Intramural Basketball season starts
on Wed, November 5th at 12:30pm in the Champlain gym. It is 5 x 5
basketball for any and all skill levels. If you wish to sign up as a team
or individual can do so by seeing Scott O’Brien in Student Services or
send him a MIO. Spots are reserved to 12 teams so make sure that you
sign up ASAP so that you don’t miss out on the action.
INTRAMURAL SOCCER - WEDNESDAY: The Intramural Soccer Season
is ready for week #5 after some great games last week. The league
continues this week on Wednesday from 12:30-2:30pm
