Welcome
to our
Anglia Ruskin
University
Open Day
I am delighted to welcome you to Anglia Ruskin
University and to our Open Day.
This is our chance to show you what life is really like here at Anglia
Ruskin. Make the most of it. Talk to our staff and students and see
the facilities for yourself.
A university education is an investment, not just in the next few
years but in your future. Our aim is to help you get the most out of
that investment by giving you the opportunity to achieve your full
potential. The starting point is choosing a university that is right for
you. I hope that the courses and environment we can offer you at
Anglia Ruskin provide that exact match.

you towards the Faculty that offers your course.

Faculty colours.

Parents’ Zone
We’ve found that parents can have as many, if not more, questions about university as their
children. So, we’ve established our Parents’ Zone with useful and relevant information to reassure
yourself with and to get informed about supporting your son or daughter at university and
beyond. Visit us today on our Roadshow Bus located outside the Lord Ashcroft Building.
Societies, Recreational Clubs and Activities
Societies and recreational clubs, such as aerobics and the Mindful Midwifery society are supported by the
Students’ Union who are available today if you want to know more. They also organise the ‘Give it a Go’
sessions which are taster sessions of all sorts of activities and trips, such as visits to Harry Potter World and
Alton Towers. They can also tell you all about the lively social events that take place throughout the year.
Find Out More About Our City
Recently awarded city status, Chelmsford has lots to offer and the city centre is just a short walk
from our campus. Don’t forget to pay a visit to our Ashcroft Mezzanine today to find out more.

Have a free drink on us while you are here. Tea and coffee is available all day as well as a selection
of biscuits. You can also purchase hot and cold food and drinks from Costa Coffee, near the main
