VASHAW SCIENTIFIC, INC, 3125 Medlock Bridget Road NORCROSS, GA-30071 W: 770-447-5632 Fax: 770-441-7837 54 Undergraduate Research Competition Support The 2012 AAS Poster and Paper Competition was assisted by three undergraduate students from the Science and Technology Honors Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The hard work and determination of these UAB students, [Zachariah Ingram, Michael Longmire, and Alexis Reuschel] have made possible an expansion of the program to recognize and reward the research endeavors of individual undergraduate researchers from across the state of Alabama. Through generous support from Dr. Emily Pauli, of the Clearview Cancer Institute, and from the Education and Outreach Team of the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, over thirty literary works from various fields of science will be presented to undergraduate students, excelling in their fields of study. The AAS is grateful for their support and contributions to the event’s success! NINETIETH ANNUAL MEETING of the ALABAMA ACADEMY OF SCIENCE, INC.
