Requests related to the creation, modification, or deletion of RIT
computer accounts, application accounts, or service accounts.
Requests related to new or existing applications including additions or
modifications to functionality/features. Ex: upgrades, patching, bundles.
Requests related to the accounting, billing or other administration of ITS
supported services.
Requests related to the acquisition, administration, or configuration of
hardware and software for computers and mobile devices; including
personally owned devices. Ex: software installation or wireless setup on a
laptop/pc.
Requests related to configuration, administration, and monitoring of
batch processing, internal and external data feeds, and job scheduling.
Requests related to the administration, acquisition, configuration, or
modification of ITS supported databases.
Requests related to administration and operation of ITS supported email,
email messages, and calendars (including Message Center).
Requests related to the set-up and maintenance of security cameras,
security alarms, alarm bridging, and fire alarms.
Requests related to the creation, administration, or configuration of ITS

Steps to Completing an ITS work Request:

Go to https://www.rit.edu/its/requests
Select Work Request Type
Log in with RIT Username and Password
NOTE: Your account name is identified on the page and is used as the contact for the process
and ultimately the footprint ticket generated.
Complete the fields in the Work Request
NOTE: Fields with a * are required fields.
Click Submit Request.
User will receive an email confirmation of the submitted request.
Behind the scenes, the Work Request will be automatically triaged to the Initial Recipient
(team responsible for completing the work). A Footprints Ticket will be generated and
assigned to the Initial Recipient.
Users will have the ability to provide feedback after each submission. An email can also be
directly sent to ITSWorkRequestFeedback@rit.edu
