Hillside Community Festival of Guelph requires a Volunteer Program Manager to assist in
short and long-term planning for the festival. This is a position on the board of directors. To

Bracelet of Hope requires General Office Volunteers to help out in the office on a weekly
basis. Tasks may include (but are not limited to): maintaining the retail section, greeting
visitors, performing transactions, online research, event planning, data entry and general office

Volunteer Centre of Guelph/Wellington requires a Community Information Researcher.
Volunteer duties include updating a database of community organizations and responding to
inquiries in-person and on the phone about community services, resources and events, and
refer as appropriate. Volunteers will also help match potential volunteers with suitable

Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Central West Ontario Chapter requires a Board of
Directors – Fundraising Lead. The board of directors is the legal authority of the chapter. As a
member of the board, a director acts in a position of trust and is responsible for the governance
of the chapter. The responsibilities of this board position are: (1) oversee the planning,
development and implementation of all fundraising including the Walk to End MS; (2) develop a
committee and delegate to these members as appropriate; (3) work with staff to facilitate grant

Homewood Health Centre requires Patient Library Volunteers. Duties include assisting
Homewood library staff in the general running of the library circulation desk, locating and
signing out materials and organizing and maintaining the library. Volunteers will also take on
one special assignment per week. Students are welcome to apply and hours can be used
