FALL COLOUR
WALK IN ROUGE PARK

Join fellow Academy members and friends for a guided walk. Meet at the Rouge Valley Conserva>on Centre at 12:00 for a bring-­‐your-­‐own picnic lunch and be ready for a 1:00 departure for both guided walks.
The Rouge Valley Conserva2on Centre is located at 1749 Meadowvale Road, Toronto, Ontario.
From Hwy 401 take the Meadowvale Road exit, go north past Sheppard Avenue East. Take the
ramp up to the Toronto Zoo and turn right at the top of the ramp. The Conserva2on Centre is
the 2 storey house down the road on your right.
Choose your walk:
A. Vista Trail –The short
easy walk. 1.5 km loop
Conservation
Centre and
Parking
B. Cedar Trail -­‐The longer
walk which is moderate to
challenging with stairs. 2.2
km each direc:on. (4.4 km
total)
The fee for the guided tour
is $5.00. Bring $5.00 with
you.
Departure 2me: 1:00 p.m.

Although there is no designated picnic area feel free to bring a packed lunch to enjoy while fellow colleagues gather. For addi:onal informa:on visit the Rouge Park website
As we will be arranging guides for these walks we would like to know if you are planning to a?end and which walk you would be interested in taking. So please sign up for your preferences here by Friday, October 3 so that we can arrange the guides. Examine the trail informa:on above, check the website and let us know which trail you are interested in. Parking is available however there may be a fee.
