This year’s AGM takes place in the Belgian capital of Brussels, a bustling and vibrant city known for great beer, delicious chocolate and its Red Devils football team! As with every AGM, we will receive the very generous support of [sponsors tbc], without whom the event would not be possible (please see Sponsorship Offer included). The conference will open with a cocktail dinner on Thursday 16th October, followed by a full programme of meetings on Friday 17th October. The AGM will conclude with our pièce de résistance, a Gala Dinner in the Autoworld Museum – a quintessential Belgian setting and home to 250 vintage cars, trucks and other memorabilia. Brussels is also the seat of the European Union and home to TI since 2006. Grayling – the Brussels-based Secretariat of TI – is managing this year’s event on behalf of the Executive Committee and is greatly looking forward to welcoming you to Europe’s capital city. The theme of this year’s AGM – Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Management and Good Distribution Practices – was chosen for both its high political and commercial relevance. The European Commission published landmark Guidelines on the topic in November 2013, which will shape future policies in this area. Moreover, valuable synergies between the pharmaceutical and temperature controlled logistics sectors remain largely untapped. The AGM gathers delegates and high-level stakeholders from across political, industrial and scientific spheres to share information and best practices, and represents a key platform for networking. Partners can enjoy a wonderful social programme on Friday, which explores the cultural and culinary delights of Brussels. On Saturday delegates and their partners are invited to visit the beautiful city of Ghent, renowned for its charming cobbled streets and bustling shopping district.
