Religious Application Instructions The Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC) will now accept applications online. The information that needs to be submitted is the same that has previously been required. The availability of online submission of this information is intended to make it easier for you to complete your institution’s required application and to facilitate the transmission of documentation in support of this application. Please follow the directions below to log into the new system which permits online submission. Once you have logged in, you may update your contact information and begin submitting the information and/or documents needed to renew your institution’s exemption from other GNPEC requirements. Visit the following website: https://ga.edvera.com Establish User and Institution Contact Click on the “Request Account” button. Please include your name, phone number, email address, the institution(s) with whom you are requesting to be associated, and a brief description of your intended purpose so that we can best assign your user roles. An NPEC staff member will input the institution’s information and institution contact’s information and contact you shortly to proceed with the next steps. Please note that the ”institution contact” is the only role that can make changes, but you are able to have multiple “institution contacts” if you notify us that you need them. Once you have been contacted, log in to the Edvera website, https://ga.edvera.com, with the email address you provided to NPEC. Establish Password Click on the tab labeled “Reset Password”. Enter your email address; then, click the “Reset my password” button. Check Your Email You should receive an email from GA GNPEC <gnpec@edvera.com>. In the email click on the link labeled “Change my password”. This will take you to a screen where you will create a password. The password must be entered twice on this screen. Once you have entered your password the second time, click on the button labeled “Update my password and log me in”. Update Account Information 2. You will now see your “Dashboard” with your school’s information listed. Your name should appear in the top right corner of the screen. Click on your name; then, click on “Update Account”. If needed, please update your contact information. (If you do not need to update your contact information, you can move on to the directions in step #3.) Save the information by clicking the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen. New and Renewal Application 3. Select the “Documents” tab at the top of the page. Select the “New” tab. Select “Religious School Exemption”. Select “Continue” if the correct application is listed at the top of the screen. (If the wrong application is listed on this screen, return to the previous screen, and repeat #3.) Enter your institution’s information into each appropriate field. Approval Process 4. Once you have completed the forms, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen. Once you have provided all required information, your institution’s status will be “Pending SA Approval”. You may print this information for your records. Additional Requirements 5. A check for the initial ($500) or renewal ($100) fee must be sent to GNPEC. Please make the check payable to GNPEC.
