Advanced DWI Seminar
This seminar is designed to provide attorneys with the valuable tools necessary to
successfully handle all aspects of a DWI blood case or DWI breath case. This course will
provide advanced information regarding all aspects of ALR hearings and DWI blood
draw cases and breath cases to include essential discovery areas, attacking blood draw
warrants, basics of blood testing, blood disconnect defense, DWI jury selection, crucial
areas for cross-examination of law enforcement and experts at a DWI trial, essential DWI
sentencing issues, and collateral DWI issues such as the DPS surcharge.

The seminar will be held at the Menger Hotel, 204 Alamo Plaza, San Anto­nio, Texas 78205. A
room block has been reserved at the Menger Hotel. Accom­modations are $119 per night,

Space is limited. Hotel cutoff is October 20, 2014, or until block is full, whichever comes first.
CLE Information
This program is expected to be accredited for 13.5 CLE hours, including 1.0 hour ethics.
Credit for attendance may be utilized toward the CLE requirements for certification and
recertification of attorneys in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and
towards the total CLE requirements of the State Bar of Texas. Seminar satisfies biennial CLE
requirements for continuing NCDD members.

assessed a 50 percent cancellation fee. Materials will be sent after the seminar. Semi­nars are
open to criminal defense attorneys; other professionals who support the de­fense of criminal cases
may attend at cost. Law enforcement personnel and prosecutors are not eligible to attend.
