Job Title: Warehouse Assistant
Job Classification: Part-Time (10 hours) Non-Exempt Position
Salary: $8-$10 per hour
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings
Job Summary: The Warehouse Assistant assists the Program Manager in accurate, safe, and efficient
warehouse operations, packs diaper orders for agency distribution, inventories incoming diapers, and trains
others in warehouse procedures.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
 Open and closing warehouse when needed. Load and unload trucks as needed. Sort diapers and
become proficient in diaper size guidelines.
 Fill agency orders correctly, promptly, in good condition, and in advance of pick-up.
 Keep warehouse facility clean and neat.
 Operate pallet jack, forklift, rental truck and other warehouse equipment safely.
 Assist in supervision of volunteers.
 Complete monthly inventory by size.
 Pick-up donated diapers as needed.
 Train staff and/or volunteers in warehouse safety procedures.
 Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Program Manager.
Education and Work Experience
 High school diploma or GED.
 Be proficient in operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, driving trucks 24’-26’.
 Be of sound character, work ethic, and a self-starter.
 Ability to receive directions from the management.
 Ability to work with staff and a variety of volunteers.
 Ability to do basic math.
 Current OSHA certified forklift operator license preferred but not required.

Must have valid Arizona driver’s license.
Must be willing to undergo drug screening test and background check.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain organized paper records.
Ability to modify work schedule and work varied hours.
Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for significant periods of time.
