Our mission is to educate World‐Class Engineers who are: Aware of the world and effective in teams Solidly grounded in fundamentals and technically broad in thinking Innovative and successful leaders The Engineering Alumni Society is committed to keeping this world‐class engineering education accessible for future generations of students, but that is becoming increasingly challenging. Today’s Penn State students graduate with an average debt of more than $33,000. To help ease this financial burden and support academically qualified students, the Engineering Alumni Society has established the Penn State Engineering Alumni Society Endowed Scholarship, which provides scholarship support to engineering students who demonstrate promise of academic success. A first preference is given to first semester freshmen students providing them with a vote of confidence in their academic ability from our alumni. If you would like to support the scholarship fund or have questions about supporting the fund with a gift or estate plan, please contact Mark Sharer, Director of Development, at 814‐865‐0173 or mts122@psu.edu.
