PRODUCT DESCRIPTION TK-EPO MP PATCH is a threecomponent, multi-purpose, non-shrink epoxy patching mortar with a tenacious and mechanical bond to concrete. TK-EPO MP PATCH is specifically engineered to provide superior patching for a wide range of applications - from bridge decks to plant floors. USES TK-EPO MP PATCH is used to patch columns, bridge and parking decks and spalls in concrete plant floors. APPLICATION PROCEDURES AND INSTRUCTIONS SURFACE PREPARATION: Saw cut appromixately 1/2 in (.2 cm) deep around perimeter of patching area and remove all deteriorated and unsound concrete with a chipping hammer not to exceed 30#. Thoroughly clean patching area and exposed reinforcing steel by sandblasting to a white metal finish. Vacuum or blow all dust and loose particles from area. MIXING: Mix complete units only. Pre-mix each liquid component thoroughly before combining. Pour components A and B into a pail and mix thoroughly for 3 minutes with a Jiffy type mixer on low speed (300 rpm) until material is of uniform consistency. Keep mixer at bottom of pail to avoid introducing air. Slowly add component C (aggregate) to mixed liquid components. and mix thoroughly until aggregate is fully wetted out. APPLICATION: PATCHING CONCRETE Prime patch area with mixed neat resin of components A and B with brush or roller. Immediately place patch. CLEAN UP: Collect all absorbent material and dispose of in accordance with all local, state and federal disposal regulations. Flush area with water. Uncured material can be removed with TK-2012 KWIK KLEAN or other approved solvent. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. CAUTION: SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS • Component A - Irritant. • Component B - Corrosive. • Product is a strong sensitizer. Use of safety goggles and chemical resistant gloves are recommended. • Use of NIOSH/MSHA organic vapor respirator is recommended if ventilation is inadequate. • Avoid breathing vapors. • Avoid skin contact. First Aid • Eye Contact: Flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Contact physician immediately. • Respiratory Contact: Relocate person to fresh air. • Skin Contact: Remove any contaminated clothing. Remove epoxy immediately with a dry cloth or paper towel. Solvents should not be used as they carry the irritant into the skin. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. CURED EPOXY RESINS ARE INNOCUOUS. also CONDITIONS OF SALE/ LIMITED WARRANTY (Section 7) above. FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY 09/14 LIMITATIONS: Minimum substrate temperature is 40°F (5°C). Inasmuch as the use of TK Products’ product by others and other factors affecting product performance are beyond TK Products’ control, TK Products does not guarantee the results to be obtained. There are no warranties except as stated herein, either express of implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. SHOULD ANY TK PRODUCTS’ PRODUCT FAIL TO GIVE SATISFACTORY RESULTS, TK PRODUCTS WILL REPLACE THE PRODUCT, OR AT ITS OPTION, REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE. THIS IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY FAILURE OF TK PRODUCTS’ PRODUCTS TO PERFORM AS WARRANTED AND SHALL ALSO CONSTITUTE LIQUIDATED DAMAGES IN CASE OF LOSS.
