About the seminar
The increase in cases of asthma and allergies has
become an important health issue throughout globe.
Although these ailments were not common diseases a
few short decades ago, they are now affecting a large
part of the population in our country. Aeroallergens
originating from pollen and spores that trigger hay
fever, asthma and allergy are increasingly spread.
Urban air pollution has been indicated as one of major
risk factors for this increase. Due to climate change, air
pollution patterns are changing in several urbanized
areas with a significant effect on respiratory health.
This unique programme provides a multidisciplinary
platform, demonstrate why research is imperative and
meets the demands of curious minds of young
scientists, clinicians and academicians in this field to
raise voice in the decision process to give strong
support of clean policies at national level.
Objectives
The National Seminar on Aerobiology and Public
Health provides opportunity for Doctors, Researchers,
Academicians and Scientists:
Ÿ To offer an interdisciplinary
coverage of
interaction of aerobiology and human systems
Ÿ To increase awareness of possible changes in life
style and preventive measures among sufferers of
spore/pollen-related allergic respiratory diseases
Ÿ To improve spore/pollen-related allergic
respiratory disease management in the general
population
Call for Papers/oral and poster presentations
Participants on their published or ongoing
projects/Papers on the following sub themes are
invited:
Guidelines for submission of abstract/paper
Original paper: The paper should be original,
unpublished and adhere to the seminar themes
Author details: Should give title of paper, the author's
name, affiliation and contact information.
Word Limit: For abstract 300 words with not more
than five key words; Full papers 3000 words
Text: Size 12 pt Times New Roman, 1 ½ line spacing,
justified; Heading 14 pt, Time New Roman and bold
faced; sub headings 12 pt, Times New Roman,
boldfaced
Tables, Figures and Graphs: Captions 10 pt Times
New Roman, boldfaced and centered. Avoid
photographs.
Cite References and Avoid Plagiarism.
Reference Style: APA sixth edition.
Submission: Abstract/full papers are to be submitted

length papers will be published in souvenir book
containing a report on the major activities.

The scientific program will include invited speakers
