GOAL
The goal of this conference is to produce a consensus opinion produced by oncologists and allied health
professionals from across Eastern Canada for the purpose of recommending management strategies for
patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) and selected gastrointestinal cancers. The final report will be submitted for publication to “Current Oncology”; a peer-reviewed, Canadian based and internationally distributed
journal, representing a multidisciplinary medium, encompassing health care workers in the field of cancer
therapy to report upon and to review progress in the management of this disease.
OUTCOMES
Obtain consensus on new or emerging therapies.
Publication in “Current Oncology”.
Discuss standards of care in rectal and Gastro-intestinal cancer.
