Provide training in verity of welding processes and assess them by distractive and nondistractive testing for weldments. A theoretical overview of welding symbols used on
drawings in fabrication workshops and industrial plants according to ANSI/AWS A2.4.
Provide training in different types of methods and machinery concerning welding
requirements, and auxiliary welding equipment on industrial plants and fabrication
workshops. Familiarize the students with the chemical and metallurgical properties of
various steels and alloys. Provide the students with a technical understanding of
oxyacetylene welding, flame cutting and brazing fundamentals and welding safety.
Provide training to develop the hands-on skill necessary to produce high quality welds.
Provide training on SMAW to develop the manual skills necessary to produce quality
multipass fillet and groove welds with backing in all positions, using the E6010 and
E7018 electrodes on thick carbon steel plate similar to many structural applications and
high quality single V-groove welds carbon steel pipe in all positions (2G, 5G and 6G)
visually inspect welds with naked eyes penetrant or magnetic particle testing. Acquiring
the basic skills required to weld medium to thick carbon steel plate, steel pipes and
Aluminum in all positions with GMAW or flux-cored. Provide the students with a
thorough technical understanding of gas tungsten arc welding fundamentals, preparation
for welding pipe and tubes and their welding defects.

professional training for trainer and curriculum development by using best practices to
enhance the technical training processes such as” students centered learning
methodologies” and the teaching theories. In the other hand, developing curriculums to
