and Color Measurement
Chroma™
Powerful software package for optical spectral
analysis and color measurement
Color is an important design and product recognition feature, one that can mean the
difference between market success and failure. Particularly when using natural or
recycled raw materials with varying compositions, continuous, objective monitoring
of the effect of color is a key prerequisite for uniform quality.
With the Chroma software package and a PC-controlled spectrophotometer, you can
now determine the transmission and reflection properties of solids and liquids precisely, and on the basis of these calculate and graphically display color values according
to both the Helmholtz and the CIELAB method.
Chroma links measurement and evaluation with a powerful database in which all
results are stored in an optimized structure. The Chroma software ensures the traceability and complete documentation of all measurements to actively support you in
implementing your quality standards.

PerkinElmer Lambda™ 25/35/45
PerkinElmer Lambda™ 650/750/850/950/1050
The PerkinElmer LAMBDA 25, 35 and 45 photometers are
equipped with double-beam optics and are designed for
extremely low-noise transmission measurements in the
UV/VIS range (190 to 1100 nm) to approx. 3.5 absorption
units.
With the models LAMBDA 650, 750, 850, 950 and 1050,
PerkinElmer offers a wide range of double-beam UV/VIS/NIR
spectrophotometers with double monochromators for applications demanding maximum precision. All models have
the same basic set-up with a large, flexible sample compartment and a variety of possible expansion capabilities.
The LAMBDA 650 with its sensitive photomultiplier detector
permits measurements to 6 absorption units in the UV/VIS
range (190 to 900 nm).
The LAMBDA 25 is equipped with a 1 nm fixed slit, while
on the LAMBDA 35 and 45 the slit width is adjustable in
the range of 0.5 to 4 nm.
The pre-monochromator of the LAMBDA 45 halves the
scattered light from 0.01 %T to 0.005%T.
The LAMBDA 850 expands the photometric range to 8 absorption units. The LAMBDA 750, 950 and 1050 models
open up the NIR range out to 3300 nm. The LAMBDA 750
and 950 are equipped with PMT/PbS detectors, and the
Lambda 1050 is additionally fitted with a highly sensitive
InGaAs detector for extremely precise measurements in
the lower NIR range of approx. 800 to 2500 nm.
