INTRODUCTION
Usage and distribution
The purpose of this document is to help advertisers, agencies and publishers
to get an understanding of what the Widespace formats represent – the brand
impact or brand lift that can be achieved, how they work, what they look like
and the creative components that need to be delivered. Material deliveries that
comply to this specification speed up production and minimise delays. Please
note that there might be differences for local markets, always contact us when
you have a question, and we will be able to advise based on the requirements
of the campaign. The latest version of the material specification can be

Takeover
Our most common format for branding campaigns.
Square shaped and occupies approximately 60%
of the screen, yet considered unobtrusive by users
while also being integrated within the content. One

Store Locator
The most efficient format to foot traffic to point of
sale. The feature displays a map with the route to
the nearest store when the user taps the ad. Loved
by retail advertisers and is a strong solution if a
landing page is not available. Well integrated on
both mobile web and app.

Video
A video banner is the perfect storytelling format.
Contains a clickable start banner that links to
the full screen video. Upon clicking on the video
feature, it will run full screen – either portrait
or landscape mode. End banner shows after
completed video and links to an URL of choice.
An optional dynamically animated start banner will
fade between 3 still images from the video.

StreamView
This is a native video solution designed to
deliver rich mobile experiences and drive brand
advertising effects.
StreamView begins to play when 50% or more of
the ad is viewable. The video will begin playing
muted, and within the dimensions of the ad itself. If
the user scrolls further down the page (or back up),
and the StreamView is no longer 50% viewable,
then the video will pause, resuming when it is
more than 50% viewable. If a user interacts with
the StreamView then the video will open in full
screen, and continue to play at the point it was at,
with the audio on.

Video Takeover Split
A rich media format that maximises user attention
and video views. The initial Takeover ad space is
divided into dynamically animated images and a

This is a built-in iPhone coupon application. An
optional ad format can lead to a coupon ad that will
be downloaded to the user’s iPhone. A notification
