Iso soitto -music festival sic Imperials,
Wonderful Land is a group that
by its music lets the listeners time
travel to the past. The repertoire of
the band consists of classic gospel
standards from 50’s and 60’s as well
as some older hymns and spirituals.
In Wonderful Land concerts you
hear many familiar songs of good old
artists such as Elvis, Hank Williams,
Sister Rosetta Tharpe and The
Joystrings.
There is strong message in the songs,
but on top of all you can see and
hear the joy of making music. The
unique and original golden 60’s sound
is created by using genuine vintage
instruments such as Fender guitars,
Vox amplifiers and tape echoes. You
can also see nostalgic outfits on the
players of the band, swing dresses on
the singer and drape jackets on the
gentlemen.

Wonderful Land comes from Central
Finland. They have toured around
Finland since 2010 in various venues;
churches, festivals and private events.
Since most of the songs are originally
in English, the repertoire is easily
arranged internationally.
