Since October 2008 Head of the Environmental Office in City Planning Department (260 employees total), leadership and management of 7 landscape
architects, 1 architect, 1 research scientist, 1 planning assistant and 1-3 trainees annually that work on all levels of planning (Master Plans, Local Plans and
Detailed Plans). Latest project the Green Areas Strategy for Helsinki in conjunction with the new Master Plan (www.yleiskaava.fi). Human resourcing and
strategic planning, statements, design competitions etc. Representing Helsinki's landscape planning in various occasions including international cooperation in European and global connections (ECLAS, LE:NOTRE, member of LUCI lighting committee 2008-2010, IFLA, member of European Urban
Landscape Partnership network since 2006 etc.). Supervision and commissioning of numerous plans, incl. three Master theses for Aalto University (Sirpa
Törrönen's landscape analysis of Helsinki 2010, Mari Soini's Park design for Western Harbor 2012 and Katariina Peltola's Folkkari - peoples' park in 2014).
Project leader and landscape designer for Detailed Plan of Lapinlahti hospital area, ratified in City Council in May 2012. Jury member in numerous ideas

From December 2002 to October 2008 landscape architect responsible for landscape expertise in the inner city area, Environmental Office in City Planning
Department. Working as landscape expert in design teams lead by the project leader. Most important teams included:

From July 2001 to October 2002 I worked as Head of Landscape Unit of 3 designers in Green Services Office for Espoo City Technical Center. I was
establishing of a new landscape unit responsible for implementation design and programming of investments on parks as its first leader. I started a pilot
project about a general development plan in accordance with the recently made Green Areas Program to help prioritize and invest, and developed a model
for a quality-based evaluation of tenders from consultants. Main tasks included commissioning landscape designs from companies (9 designs in total) and
supervising my team, including one Master's Thesis for Aalto University.
