We are please to announce that we will shortly be upgrading the card loaders in Tower Place to SMARTLoad. What is it? SMARTLoad allows you to “Instant Load” your catering card with funds from a credit or debit card. You simply need to register your details on-line and then you will be able to load funds using the new SMARTService Points (SSP) which will be installed in both Tower Place East and Tower Place West. The registration process is a “one-time” only process, once this is completed you do not need to go on the internet again, you can simply load funds on demand using the SMARTService Points. How does it work? 1. You will receive an email from admin@CSSmartLoad.net this will contain your user name and password. Please do not delete this as you will need this to log into your account. 2. Use the link in the email to log in to SMARTLoad for the 1st time. Or alternatively navigate to www.cssmartload.net and log in using the provided credentials. 3. Register a Credit or Debit card using the ‘Manage Account’ function on www.cssmartload.net 4. You can then “instant load” funds from your registered credit or debit cards onto your Security ID card at 1 of the SSP’s for use in the staff restaurant, café, shop and vending machines. What is an SSP? These are the latest technology loading devices as pictured above. There will be 2 Card Loaders plus 1 cash loader and visitors card machine in the Tower Place East. 1 card loader and a separate cash loader in Tower Place West. To use the device you simple have to: 1. Touch your card on the blue section of the device 2. Select the “instant load” function 3. Select the amount you would like to load 4. Enter the CVV number of the credit or debit card which you registered on SMARTLoad 5. Your card balance will be updated at the top of the screen by flashing blue 6. Go eat, drink and enjoy! When will I receive my user name and password? These will be emailed to you on or just after 2nd April 2013 with a proposed Go Live Date of Monday 8th April Frequently Asked Questions What are the benefits of doing this? Using SMARTLoad will allow you to add funds to your catering card in less than 5 seconds and 6 key depressions on the SSP. This replaces the longer process of having to insert your credit or debit card into loading devices and enter your PIN number. Do I have control and visibility of the money which is taken from my credit or debit card? Yes, money is only taken from your credit or debit card when you request load’ using the SSP. You can also log into SMARTLoad at any point and see an account statement which will show you the time/date and the amount of funds which you have loaded. This information can also be seen on the SSP using the “review transactions” function. Are my credit or debit card transactions secured? To ensure compliance with the relevant Payment Card Industry legislation Counter Solutions partners work with an approved Payment Service Provider – Credit Call, who have Level 1 PCI DSS compliance. This ensures that all the data is managed within the scope of the standard to maintain security. What about my Data, is it secure? SMARTLoad is a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant system; this is an industry recognised body which ensures the secure storing and use of credit or debit card information. Do I need to have my debit/credit card with me to load funds onto my card? No, once registered you simply need to select an amount of funds to load using the SSP, and then enter the C## number on the back of your registered credit or debit card to verify the transaction. This is much in the same way as using the internet to make a purchase. Do I need to log into SMARTLoad to load money onto my card? No, SMARTLoad is simply used for you to enter to details online, this is a one-time process which does not need to be repeated. What do I do if I lose my catering card? You need to report your card as lost to the security ID Office in Tower Place West, where they will issue a new card. Do I have to use a debit/credit card? If you do not want to register a credit or debit card, you are still able to load cash using the cash loaders.
