FOWLTOWN ASOCIATION ANNUAL SESSION
The Annual Session of the Fowltown Missionary Baptist Association was held in Jesup,
Georgia at the Greater Morris Chapel Baptist Church October 23-25, 2014. Various
ministries were represented but the Sunbeams stole the show with their performance on
Saturday. Pastor Simmons and approximately 20 adults attended the awesome services
during the Session. The preaching was dynamic, the music uplifting, the business
deliberations concise and civilized, and the hospitality most gracious. The church is most
appreciative of those members who donated unselfishly to the ministry registrations, fund
raisers and Mamie Daniel Banquet.

This ministry is called Cradle Roll (New Generation I & II) which is a church and faith based
community outreach ministry to parents (single or married) who are expecting and/or have
children up to 4 years of age.
Cradle Roll Ministry Seeks to:

Manifest the interest of the church in the home and community

Minister to parents and offer counsel and guidance to assist parents in their
parenthood responsibilities

Assist parents in establishing daily family worship in the home

Encourage Sunday school attendance for the child and Sunday school and
Worship for the parents.

NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION MINISTRY
All new members must meet with Pastor Simmons and then start the New Member
Orientation Classes. The classes are offered every Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to
9:45 a.m. For those members who cannot make it on Sunday morning, the New Member
Orientation Ministry offers a “Super Saturday” every third Saturday, where you can
complete all 4 classes.
