Applicants must be Namibian citizens & studying full-time/part-time/Distance (inclusive online studies)
at accredited & recognized institutions of higher learning
Must complete NSFAF green application form for postgraduate studies;
Must be nominated/recommended by their employers for further studies
Employers must be prepared to co-share some of the costs such as transport expenses (i.e. flight ticket),
research expenses; pocket money, visa fee and instruments.
The chosen field of study must be in demand or fill a critical shortage in key sectors;
Students must be studying towards an Honours degree must have obtained an undergraduate qualification;
Applicants for Masters Degrees must hold a four year degree; or an honours degree or equivalent qualification at the
time of application in a similar field of intended Master Degree i.e. Degree in Economics to a Masters in Economics.
Must be studying towards a qualification in line with the already completed qualifications;
Must have good outstanding academic qualifications;
Preference will be given to the students studying at SADC and local institutions;
Must submit proof of provisional admission attached to their application forms;
Incomplete, late applications or outdated application forms would not be accepted.
Must provide a detailed quotation indicating all costs from the institution where you intends to study (NB) Due
to the fact that quotations are inflated, the fund will not provide 100% financial assistance.
TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:
•
Application forms can be collected and submitted at the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund, Secretariat.
•
Application forms can also be collected and submitted at NSFAF Regional Loans and Scholarship Officers stationed in the regions.
•
Application forms should be completed in HB pencil, and may not be copied, faxed or emailed.

Applications are invited for postgraduate studies: Honours, Masters or Doctoral Degrees tenable preferably within SADC. The awards are
intended for persons of high intellectual promise who may be expected to make a significant contribution to Namibia. Moreover,
preference will be given to specialised Masters and not general qualifications such as MBA. NSFAF has limited funding torwards Post
Graduates Studies and applicants will be subjected to a fair selection process and the approval of the Board, the selection and Advisory
Committee will be final.
Post graduate funding will be in a form of a loan or a grant.
