Although commonly associated with athletic physical activity and rehab, it is also beneficial to a wide variety of patients across multiple settings. The popularity of kinesiology taping has exploded with the recent use on Olympic and professional athletes in several sports. The ability to properly perform therapeutic taping can allow a therapist to fill the gap between standard approaches and the clinical management of complex pathologies. This lab-intensive one day workshop will guide participants through the implementation of taping techniques for an array of pathologies throughout the human body for both athletic and non-athletic applications. Kinesiology taping strategies will be taught in a hands-on interactive format to ensure participants receive an effective modality that can be implemented immediately. In addition to being able to effectively implement treatment through therapeutic taping, information will be provided on the latest taping and billing codes to be certain workshop participants are able to receive full reimbursement for the treatments covered throughout the day.
