Pedagogical portfolio Supervision of doctorial students Today I am supervising two doctorial students in Working Life Science I have so far supervised four students to a doctoral degree, one in Economic Geography (2000) and three in Working Life Science (2007, 2009 and 2012). I have been assistant supervisor to 4 students taking a degree in 1989, 1997, 2003 and 2004. In the project Gender and Work, 1999- 2005, at the National Institute for Working Life in Stockholm, 2 persons conducted their PhD studies based on studies in the project and the exams were taken in 2004 and 2005. Two other PhD exams were based on studies in other projects where I was the project leader. Supervision of master and bachelor thesis and courses I have been developing courses, teaching and supervised thesis on basic and advanced levels since 1968. I have on a regular basis been teaching at the Institute for Social Research in Stockholm, the department of Economic Geography in Uppsala and at the Department of Working Life Science in Karlstad. Besides this I have participated in many courses given with different universities and university colleges in Sweden and abroad. Administrative experiences During 2006 and 2008 I was dean for the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Communication and IT. In this task I had responsibility for the scientific and educational development in the faculty and as it was a new organization which occupied a lot of my time. It was a good experience for furthering my knowledge in academic leadership. Project leader of research projects Project leader and scientific leader for eight large research projects during the period 1978 to 2008. The number of participant has been between 4 and 12 persons and in the projects there have been produced doctoral dissertations, scientific reports, articles, books or book chapters. In the project Gender and Work at the National Institute for Working Life in Stockholm around 150 reports, books and article were published by the project members. Between 2009 and 2010, I was project leader for a research project on gender equality and higher education financed by EU.s structural funds/NUTEK, Region Värmland and Karlstad University.
