All athletes should be registered. On the spot registration will cost Rs. 1000 per athlete Based on the results of National Ice Skating Championships the athletes will be sent abroad to represent India to participate in International Ice Skating Championships organised by International Skating Union (ISU) Switzerland, Asian Skating Union (ASU) and for Asian Winter Games. Age group is in accordance with the Rule 108 of International Skating Union. 2. If a junior participates in senior category he/she cannot participate in Junior category up to 30 June 2016. 3. Age is calculated as and on 01-7-2015. 4. Accreditation card will be issued only after receiving entry fee. 5. All athletes and officials shall bring two copies of passport size photographs. 6. Not more that 4 athletes from a team can participate in one event/category. 7. Age proof is necessary for Junior, Sub-Junior and Novices athletes. 8. For Speed Skating events helmet is compulsory to be worn. 9. Registration and Practice session on 02 January 2015. th 10. Championships on 3, 4 & 5 January 2015. –3– XI NATIONAL ICE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Events : There will be separate events for boys and girls in seniors, juniors, subjuniors and novice categories. Teams : Each team can field maximum of four participants an event. Each team should have its manager and coach. The details of team members with names should be submitted latest by 28 December 2014. Technical Committee : A Technical Committee has been constituted to ensure smooth conduct of the championships. Jury of Appeal : A jury has been constituted to oversee the conduct of the championships. Disputes, if any, will be referred to the jury. The decision of the jury will be final and binding. The protest must be lodged by the concerned team captain / manager within 15 minutes of the completion of the event along with a fee of Rs. 500. Selection Committee : The Selection Committee will decide on the selection of Indian team for further participation, training and coaching in international events. Prizes : First, Second and Third positions in each event will be given prizes. There will be also Team Championship trophy separately. If in any event, there are only three participants, only First and Second prizes will be given. Arrival & Dispersal of Teams : (i) The teams should reach in Ice Rink latest by 08 AM on 03 January 2015. The teams can disburse after conclusion of closing ceremony on 05 January 2015 in the evening. (ii) Team captains meeting will be held at 6 PM on 02 January 2015. After 6 PM, no change of names will be accepted. Equipment : All competitors shall bring their own skating equipment, dress and music audio tapes/CDs. Participation will be allowed with proper short track skates. No ice hockey skates will be allowed. Helmets are compulsory to be worn for the speed skating event. Disqualification : Any participant may be disqualified from the competition if found indulging, misbehaving or violating the instructions during the championship. Entry Fee: Rs. 200.00 per athlete.
