MEDIA RELEASE MAX Solutions and Forrest Personnel wins tender to provide disability employment services 7 November 2014: Federal Member for O’Connor Rick Wilson announced MAX Solutions Pty Ltd and Forrest Personnel Inc will help people with disability in the Goldfields-Esperance region find jobs as part of a $300 million per year Australian Government programme. Mr Wilson said this year the government opened up to competitive tender the 47 per cent of Disability Management Service (DMS) currently delivered by CRS Australia. DMS provides specialist assistance to job seekers with a temporary or permanent disability, injury or health condition. “The non-government sector has shown it can effectively deliver these services, which is why it has been opened up to a competitive tender process. “As a result, I am pleased to announce MAX Solutions and Forrest Personnel will receive Commonwealth funding to help people with disability in the Goldfields-Esperance region find and keep a job. “Improving job opportunities for people with disability is a major priority for the Australian Government and I am pleased these two businesses will be working to do just that in our local community,” Mr Wilson said. The open tender will give job-seekers with disability confidence that their DMS providers have a demonstrated ability to achieve high quality employment outcomes and they therefore have the best chance possible of finding and keeping a job. “This is a great outcome for job seekers with disability in the Goldfields-Esperance region.” Assistant Minister for Social Services Senator Mitch Fifield announced 47 successful tenderers will receive 202 separate offers to deliver services in 97 Employment Service Areas across the country. The new contracts will take effect from March 2015 and will be offered until March 2018. More information about the www.dss.gov.au/DES/DMStender.
