Parish Christmas Celebration
On Sunday 30th November at 4.00pm until
6.00pm we are having a special parish get
together for Christmas at Holy Family Hall,
Moreton Street, Frankston North. Sausages,
Hamburgers, Bread and Drinks will be provided.
We are looking for volunteers to bring along a
salad or sweet to share. This should be a great
get together and a chance to relax before the
Christmas rush.
Anointing Mass for the
Sick and Elderly
An anointing Mass for the sick and elderly will
be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Moreton
Street, Frankston North on Wednesday 3rd
December at 11am. Light lunch will be served in
the hall at the conclusion of Mass. Volunteers
are sought to provide sandwiches or slices for
the lunch. Many thanks to the Filipino Seniors
Group who have offered to coordinate the
kitchen on the day.
THE TRAIN OF LIFE
At birth we boarded the train and met our parents; and we believe they will always
travel on our side.
However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on
this journey alone.
As time goes by, other people will board the train; and they will be our siblings,
friends, children, and even the love of your life.
Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed
that we don’t realise they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy,
sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists
of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of
ourselves.
The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will
step down.
So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive; and offer the best of who we are. It
is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave
our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will
continue to travel on the Train of Life.
I wish you a joyful journey on the Train of Life. Reap success and give lots of love.
More importantly, thank God for the journey.

moment and are selling off sporting memorabilia collected during the years when life was much
kinder. Money raised from the sale will hopefully keep the family in their home.

Monday Evening Bingo

All proceeds go to the Parish—Rolling Jackpot is currently $10,000.00
Bingo is held each Monday evening at the Carrum Downs Bingo Centre, Frankston Dandenong
Road, Carrum Downs. Commencing at 7.00pm there are 15 games @ $3.00 per book. Prizes
are $60.00 and $70.00 with a jackpot of $350.00 (minimum). There is also a Flyer which is
$1.00 per ticket. Minimum prize is $200.00.
At 8.00pm there is a 30 game session @ $7.00 per book. This is a roulette game with a
minimum prize of $50.00 with a surprise jackpot on the 30th game.
Total cost for the night is $11.00 per set of tickets—also, good raffles @ 3 tickets for $1.00.

The next meeting for the RCIA group will be held on Wednesday 19th November at 7.30pm in
the parish centre.
Legion of Mary
Meetings are held every Friday evening at 6.30pm in the Parish Centre Meeting Room. All are
welcome at our meetings. We would love to have new members join our group.
