Research Fund to Create Greater Awareness of Rheumatological Diseases
A Reverie Rheumatology Research Fund has been started by art gallery owner and lupus patient, Ms Helina Chan. The fund
aims to raise awareness of rheumatological disease. Ms Chan said that local doctors should conduct their own research to
understand more about the genes of Asians and auto-immune diseases. This is important as studies on lupus in the US are on
genes of patients that are different from Asians. Find out more about this research fund here.
