Happy Thanksgiving
We would like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all of our
St. Aug families. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday
and enjoys time with their
family and friends! Our
Thanksgiving Holiday Break
will begin on Monday, November 24 and classes will resume
at 8:00 am on Monday, Dec. 1.

thank all of our families for the
Jamaica donations. Our Jamaica would not be possible
with out the many hours parent contribute to this event.
We would also like to thank all
of our parents for joining us at
our first Report Card Night,
held on Thursday, Oct.23. It
was wonderful to see so many
of you there! If any of you
were not able to pick up your
child’s report card, please come
by the office. If you do not
have the new Power School ID
& Password, please let us know
in the office.

Pennies for Tennies
We have collected money
for the Women’s City
Club, “Pennies for Tennies "this year, as we have
for many years. The proceeds of the money collected goes towards purchasing tennies shoes and
eye glasses for needy children. Thank you for your
support! The top contributors were K5– K. Villarreal; 3rd– L. Morales; and
6th-E. Gentry. A total of
$2,812.36 was donated!

All Soul’s Day Mass
Congratulations
His Excellency, Bishop James
A. Tamayo, will be having an
All Soul’s Day Mass on Saturday, November 1st at 4:00 pm
at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those families attending
will receive 5 service hours.
Children must be in full uniform. Please sign in with Dr.

We would like to congratulate Jorge
Cavazos for being selected as our November 8th Grader of the Month. He will be
recognized at Trautmann Middle School at
10 am on November 12.
Youth Leadership Laredo has accepted
five 8th graders to be part of the new cohort. They are: Andre Barjau, Carolina
Barron, Cati Romo, Ava Spruiell, and
Sarajane Smith. Congratulations on your
selection to this special organization!
