Local Apples & Pears: Cuyama local, organic, sweet, delicious Galas, Black Arkansas,
Fujis, Grannys, Sweeties & Crimson Golds are available. Cuyama Pink Lady Apples will
start at end of the week. Crows Pass Tree Ripe Seki Icchi also available. Sadly Frog Hollow Warren and Shinko have finished, but Asian pears will be coming from Fresno for the
remainder of the year.
Washington Apples & Pears: More varietals available—Cameo, Jonathan, Jonagold,
Macintosh, Crab Apple, Rome, Grapple, Lady (all pre-order). All Pears, Comice, Concorde,
and Honeycrisp Apples are Washington.
Fall Picks: California Pomegranates, Kiwi, Fuyu Persimmons, and Hard Squash Varieties.

Pomelos are in stock. Other varietals like—Cocktail, Yuzu, Kefir Lime, Calomondin, Melo
Gold are available by pre-order. Early California Cara Caras begin mid-week!!!
Local Veg Picks: Check out the Salanova Mix, Spicy Mix, Broccolini from Suzie’s, Ultra
Head Lettuce, Baby beets, Baby Chicory and Baby Mustard Mix from County Line, and

Transition : Quality and Supplies remian tough as we finish out the transition. Cauliflower and Broccoli prices are up.
Grapes: Prices are rising and quality is not as nice now that we’re moving deeper into
Storage product, seeing dryer stems and more shatter (grapes falling off), especially on
the Green. Consider premium packs.
Corn & Mini Sweet Peppers: Yellow Corn will be limited as El Centro won’t begin for a
couple of weeks, covering with Mexico. Mini Sweet Peppers, like Red and Gold Bells will
be very limited and short for next 2 weeks.
Tomatoes: Market is up this week, as Mexico is the main player and supplies are limited
but due to Storms affecting the Fall crop. Expect ongoing activity.
Baby & Premium Artichoke: Supplies very limited and hit and miss. May see shorts.
Asparagus: Sizing on asparagus will continue to run small until new area in Mexico
starts.
Green Beans, Italian, Yellow Squash, Eggplant: Prices up due to light supplies.
APPLES/PEARS:
Local Galas, Local Fujis, Sweeties, Black Arkansas, Crimson Gold Sweet Crab Apples from
Cuyama are available; Pink Lady’s at end of week. Asian Pear is the last Pear from California. All
Pears are now from the Northwest. Sadly Warren Pears from Frogs Hollow have finished early.
Honeycrisp now out of Washington. Great seasonal varietals like Jonathan, Jonagold, Cameo,
Macintosh, Grapple, and Pippins are available by pre-order.
SPECIALTY
Black Mission & Candy Striped Figs are finished, Brown Turkey are the best bet; expect limited
supplies. Pomegranates, Kiwi, Quince, Cape Gooseberries & Fuyu Persimmons are from California. Hachiya Persimmon available by pre-order. The Grape market is up in general, as we get
deeper into storage crop. Green Grapes price is up due to quality declining, consider Premium option. Gold Thompson finishing, high amber. The only California Stonefruit option left is: Red Loose
Plums, finishing this week. Frog Hollow Tree Ripe Plums finished. Import Cherries and Rainiers are available by pre-order. Passionfruit is currently very limited, Cherimoya, Sapote,
Pepino Melon, Korean Melon, Feijoa, Longan, and Baby Pineapple are available. Fresh Cranberries are ready to go!
TROPICAL FRUIT
Mango are Tommy variety and from Ecuador. Starfruit from Florida just arrived. Mangosteen
gapping for a couple of weeks.
MELONS
All Watermelon are now from Mexico, price is holding high. Color of flesh is lighter during the Fall.
Yellow Watermelon finished. Cantaloupe price is off a bit but holding high. Hammy & Cantaloupe XFcy (Sugar Kiss) just finished. All local and variety melon have finished.
CITRUS
Satsuma Tangerines are all in house, there are multiple options - Stem and Leaf, Seedless Tangerines, Mini Tangerines codes. Our favorite at the moment are Troy Regier’s Satsumas in our
Tree Ripe Tangerines code. If you need a Juicing Orange we are stocking Local and Organic.
Navel Oranges are now what is packed in the Fancy and Choice codes. Import Blood Oranges
have finished, we will see California in early December. Early Cara Caras are expected in mid-week.
Limes are up in price, but may see trend up continue through April. Meyer Lemons have improved
in price and quality. Local Grapefruit just started up again and regular codes are from Texas, supplies are in better shape and price has come off. Shanley Farms Finger Lime season has begun
again, good supplies. California Buddha Hand, Oro Blanco, Pomelo in stock. Cocktail, Yuzu,
Kefir Limes, Calamondin and Melo Gold will be pre-ordered.
BERRIES
Strawberries are up—lower yields and negative impact of rain a week ago. Stems supplies will be
light through the winter. Raspberries, Blueberries & Blackberries are steady. Fresh Huckleberries have finished, Frozen is best option. Fresh Cranberries are in stock and ready to go.

Brussel Sprouts holding steady, Stalks option by pre-order. Broccoli & Cauliflower up. Yellow Corn supplies will likely be Mexico until we start in 2 weeks out of the Desert (El Centro). Kennebec Potato quality is
fair, now coming out of Northwest. Russet Potatoes up in price. Yams are off a little, expected to hold
through Thanksgiving. Onions are steady, moved to Northwest. Baby Artichoke and Premium Heirloom
Artichoke (Green Globe variety) limited this week, primarily Summer varieties. Asparagus sizing will be
small for the next month, until new area of Mexico. All row crop vegetables are transitioning from Salinas to
Yuma, especially Iceberg, Romaine, and Sweet Gem, quality and supplies will be tough for next couple of
weeks; may see other labels. Cabbage especially Red remains short and small on size.
BEANS
Blue Lake Beans supplies are lighter, may see price increase. Fresh Cranberry Beans winding down from
Suzie’s Farms.
TOMATOES
Tomato market is up across the board, expect commodity to remain active due to aftermath of Hurricanes.
Heirloom Tomatoes price is up, Valdivia is the only local Heirloom Tomato option, Farmers Market Mixed
Baby has finished. Local Sungold and Sweet 100’s are finished will see supplies from Mexico.
MUSHROOMS
Chanterelles are now from NW, price is off a little. Black Trumpet & Matsutaki on Deals. Lobster winding down quickly.
SQUASH & CUCUMBERS
Regular Cucumbers are up. Yellow, Zucchini, and Eggplant also up in price due to lighter supplies.
PEPPERS
Green Bells are inexpensive. Chilis are up in price, Gold & Red Bells, Mini sweet peppers will be very
limited for the next two weeks, there will be shorts or alternative packs as we try to cover.
SPECIALTY
Striped Loose Beets, Baby Radishes & Baby Turnips are limited. English Peas continues to be limited but
available. Fava Beans have been n/a, expected from Mexico in 2 weeks. Calcot Onions from Crows pass. Ginger is very short, coming mostly from Peru, limited on B-grade. Tarragon price remains high. California Peeled
Garlic pricing remains high. Puntarelle and Castle Franco are available again.
