IBERO Puebla – at a glance
The IBERO Puebla is a private-higher education institution, whose core
is the human being, not only as a student and a professional, but also as a

How to apply
IBERO Puebla has an extensive list of academic partnerships with universities across the globe, specially with Jesuit universities. For this reason, we are
developing our capabilities to be able to enter this internationalization / globalization arena well-prepared, ready for productive and beneficial partnership /
engagement.
We invite you to apply to the Exchange Program for a semester or a year. At
IBERO Puebla, you will be able to take courses from different academic departments, enhance your Spanish language, and enjoy cultural experiences that will
foster an understanding of Mexico´s tradition and society.
» Verify the requirements / Contact your
International Office at your home university to find out about IBERO Puebla application procedures.
» Submit your application / You must be
nominated by your home institution in
order to apply to IBERO Puebla as an exchange student. Nominated students need
to complete the Incoming Exchange Students Application, along with documents
specified on the form. Please submit your
application materials in accordance with
our deadlines.
» Once you are accepted / IBERO Puebla
will send an e-mail to the International
Office at your home institution. Your ac-

approval form from their
home university’s international
programs office prior to applying to
our university. Also they must meet
their home university´s eligibility
requirements before we can review

International students choose

you can come as a non-degree international student, paying tuition and
fees. Visiting students choose from

Summer Courses (Tailor-made Programs)
IBERO Puebla offers summer courses in English on specific topics
according to the request of foreign universities. These courses have
a length of 3 to 4 weeks and are taught by international teachers or
professors from our faculty with an outstanding proficiency level of
English. The courses could generate credits for students in order to validate them in their respective curriculum plan.
Internships – International Exchange Program
The purpose of this program is to promote high-quality internships opportunities for international students who choose to enroll in
IBERO´s courses during an specific academic semester.
The international students can study 2 o 3 academic courses at IBERO Puebla and work as interns to get real-world and hands-on experience in international companies located in Puebla such as Volkswagen,
Benteler and CEMEX; public sector; and non-governmental organizations (NGO)´s.
International Summer
School
Each summer the different academic departments of IBERO Puebla
offer undergraduate courses in English.
These courses are offered to IBERO
Puebla students and foreign students
with the purpose of creating an international atmosphere to share cultural
and academic experiences. The courses
lasts 6 weeks.
Spanish Language
Program
IBERO Puebla offers a set of intensive Spanish courses in different
levels: basic, intermediate and proficiency. Moreover, with the intention
of strengthening ties between Jesuit
institutions, IBERO Puebla through its
Intercultural Language Center (CIDEL),
offers non-tuition Spanish Language
Program for faculty & staff from AJCU
institutions. The courses take place
during summer.
