Carson Lagina followed with a poem. FUMEE PHOTO/ESSAY CONTEST WINNERS The September 2014 Fumee Lake Photo/Essay winners have been announced. The winning photograph of the Fumee Lake Natural Area’s east gate was taken by Gail Stanek of Norway, MI. The winning essay is by Stephanie Brule of Iron Mountain, MI. Each winner received a heavy blend, full-zip hoodie, courtesy of the contest sponsor, Northern Michigan Bank & Trust. The competition is open to everyone.
